Magajin is going to hold a world-wide 2010 SUMMER illustration contest, supported by Wacom.

Magajin is a global community for illustration and Manga, connecting east and west through the universal language of art. You can learn more about the unique features of our website from here.


Overview

Magajin will hold the 2010 Summer illustration contest, to support those who love drawing manga and anime style drawings.
Anyone can enter the contest - works do not have to be new as long as the artist hold required copyright.


Submission Themes
Any theme can be chosen for contest entries. Some of our suggestions:

Use your imagination!


All submissions will be judged together, regardess of theme.


How to enter

Login to your account, click on "upload" to submit your work
*

Tag your work with "2010summer" (without the quotes)
*

There is no limit to the number of works you can submit


Contest Deadline

All entries must be uploaded no later than Sept 20, 2010 UTC/GMT +9 hours.
Winners will be announced in mid September.


Judging

*

The top 10 works will be selected using the Magajin ranking system
*

Magajin.com will select the top three among the top 10 ranked works


Grand prize

Four prizes will be awared to the winners:

*

1 First prize : $100 worth of amazon gift card for overseas users, or 10,000 yen for Japanese residents.
*

1 Second prize : $50 worth of amazon gift card for overseas users, or 5,000 yen for Japanese residents.
*

1 Third prize : $30 worth of amazon gift card for overseas users, or 3,000 yen for Japanese residents.
*

Winning works will be displayed on the top page of magajin.com for certain period of time
*

1 Wacom prize (for Japanese residents only) - Intuios 4 Special Edition Pen tablet
